Visit of the official green keeper of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona has a passion for details. It is why the catalan club has sent from Barcelona its specialist to inspect the quality of the Allianz Riviera turf before the game against OGC Nice on August 2nd.

In the presence of the Allianz Riviera technical director, Jean-Louis Romain and of  Baptiste Canet, green keeper of the Nice stadium, LLuis Ciurana has declared that the city had « a fantastic stadium and a beauitiful turf! » and has finished the visit saying that the OGC Nice team was well armed for upcoming games with its "great tool".

He explained that the Camp Nou turf came form the same Bordeaux supplier as the Allianz Riviera turf. No wonder why the catalan club chose Nice on to prepare its season in the best conditions. The only requirement of the green keeper was to thoroughly water the turf: once before the training, once before the start of the game and once at half time to suit the Spanish game.
