Laying of the foundation stone of the Nice One mall

On Monday June 23rd, a new step of the transformation of the Var plain was made : the foundation stone of the Nice One mall which will be next to Allianz Riviera in 2015, has been laid this day by Christian Estrosi, Deputy-mayor of Nice ; Guillaume Lucas, General manager of VINCI Immobilier ; Eric Ciotti, President of the Alpes Maritimes General Counsel and Gilbert Stellardo, private investor and current OGC Nice shareholder.

This architectural and societal project is being managed by a VINCI group with VINCI Concessions, VINCI Energie, VINCI Construction, VINCI Immobilier, ADIM with the support of the Nice City Counsel. Jean-Michel Wilmotte, who is also the architect of Allianz Riviera, has designed this complex which will perfectly blend into its environment. Commercial names like Leclerc and Ubaldi will bring further credibility to the economic future of this project. More than the extension of a sports facility, Eric Ciotti wants this new area to become the economic future of the entire Alpes Maritimes department.

Christian Estrosi reminds that Allianz Riviera is a catalyst by being a prestigious venue seen by the entire world with an average attendance of more that 25 000 spectators per match. Allianz Riviera has already hosted a Football World Cup preparation game as well as big matches of RC Toulon and will welcome the FC Barcelona team on August 2nd, 4 games of the Euro 2016 and will soon have the National Sports Museum.
