After hosting a spectacular drone competition in 2018—the first ever in a European stadium – the Allianz Riviera continues its partnership with the Drone Racing League (DRL), the premier global, professional drone racing property. Together, they offer fans hungry for sports excitement, a chance to explore the iconic arena through the new simulation game of the Drone Racing League on Xbox!
Starting today, Nice fans, local players and stadium lovers can pilot and battle drones at dizzying speeds through a virtual replica of the Allianz Riviera in the DRL Simulator on Xbox, the world’s most immersive drone racing game.
This game lets players learn to pilot like the DRL pros who flew through the Allianz Riviera during the DRL Allianz World Championship in 2018 and who will face off on this same virtual race course in the 2020 season. Watch them this autumn on the Groupe AB channels, Twitter, Facebook Watch channels and other major international sports channels.
Race after race, from the vantage point of the drone cockpit, DRL Simulator players can explore legendary venues, monuments and international museums, battling it out with their friends to the finish line and crashing nonstop without wrecking their drone… or breaking the bank!
